We have vacancies for adult volunteers to join our great team of leaders and helpers at Ham Scout Group, so please contact us for further information.
Our activities are limited only by the amount of adult help we get,
so be prepared to lend a hand! Join
us!
Ham Scout Group runs activities for girls and boys aged from 4
to 18 and over in Ham, near Richmond, Surrey, TW10 7JG, UK.
The group's catchment area around Ham includes Petersham, North
Kingston and Teddington. Ham Scouts run Squirrels, Beavers, Cubs and Scouts at their HQ on the Avenue leading from Ham Common towards Ham House.
Ham's Explorer Unit, "Erik Armstrong", is a Land and Sea Explorer
Scout unit run jointly with neighbouring P&H sea scout
group.
Ham Scout Group is one of over 20 Scout groups in the
Richmond-upon-Thames district and is run locally by volunteers who
operate the above sections. We have opportunities for volunteers,
particularly for young people aged 14-25 - including those on the Duke of Edinburgh Award scheme. Just ask!
Scouting is open to even more young people, from the ages of 4
to 25. There are 6 sections based on different age
ranges:
- We are providing hot food during Ham Open Gardens on Sunday 19 May 12-5pm
- This year's big fundraising event: Saturday 8 June 2024: Ham Fair!
